Adam Bowerman

Adam started his coaching career in the summer of 2010 after spending two years as a scholar at Oxford United, this was after a successful period of childhood football with Southampton FC followed by 4 years in the Oxford United centre of excellence. During his two years as a scholar with the club he gained his Level 2 coaching badge which allowed him to go on and work within the football in the community department after being released. He would run sessions across Oxfordshire that would include after school clubs, in school coaching sessions, PPA and holiday camps.

During his time spent with Oxford United football in the community Adam also gained his UEFA B License coaching badge and both youth modules 1 and 2. He also coached Oxford United's under 9 boys team, alongside Declan during a period of this time, and also within the elite development centre. This involved both team training and match days where they would play other professional academies.

Other coaching experiences Adam has include a summer spent coaching in Spain, where he would run summer camps and recreational football courses.

Declan McGovern

Declan Spent 3 years as an academy coach and as a scout for Oxford United Football Club. From May 2011 to 2013 he managed alongside Adam Bowerman coaching U9 & U10 Academy boys teams. 

Within his role as a scout he attended fixtures across Oxfordshire selecting players of all ages both boys and girls from around the county to represent the football club at elite and academy level.

Declan's other roles within the club included being an elite centre coach,

being a player development coach across Oxfordshire where he worked with more advanced children from the ages of 5-16 and working within the football in the community department.

In September 2013 he left Oxford United and spent a year in Australia to manage and coach Brisbane Olympic F.C U16s Boys National Premier League side. He also has experience of working in the U.S.A with Elite players at Cascade F.C with boys and girls.

He holds the Uefa B Licence Coaching Badge along with a Level 1 qualification in coaching goal keepers and intends to start his Uefa A Licence later this year.
